This age is so much fun. I love watching one-year-olds as they learn how to navigate the world on two feet. Kourtney was all about walking – she was a girl on the move, with squeaky shoes to boot!  I love squeaky shoes!  Kourtney’s parents even came prepared with a super delicious pink cake for her to smash in honor of being one.  I’d say Kourtney loved every second!  The best part – she got to play in the splash park to get cleaned up!  What a day!

This time I met up with them and the rest of the crew at their family’s lake home in Osage, MN.  It was so beautiful there!  It was a windy, rainy day but we made it work and got some great shots of all the kids, grandkids, and the whole family!

This family was so kind and invited my husband and kids to come with me for the day so little Oliver wouldn’t have to go so long without his mommy. :)   Thanks again, Lori, Jerry and family for having us at your home for the day!

The timing finally worked out, as Kyle is stationed on an aircraft carrier and was home for a week on leave. I did not have my own camera with me on this trip, as I couldn’t figure out how to carry it on the airplane along with Della and Oliver (my three babies!).  However, I was lucky enough to be able to borrow my sister’s camera and it all worked out fantastically -  Hooray!  Thanks, Cresty!

Ruben was so excited for this session.  He was looking forward to it possibly more than Mary.  He even picked out the shirts for himself and Kyle!  What good fashion sense, little man!  Oh, I love their matching Chucks, don’t you?

Big Brother Brenden also got in for some pictures.  Don’t you love his room with the antique boats?  He wasn’t too sure about me at first, but by the end he was hamming it up!  You can see how much he loves his little sister.  You are an awesome big brother, Brenden!
