I love, love, love the shots of the girls with their grandparents.  I can’t wait to get my own babies home to their grandparents this summer!

Our session started out a little chilly, but it is hard to complain about a March session without snow (or even jackets!).  Thanks for a fun morning!

Do you remember Taylor and Fallon’s engagement session and the fun we had with tractors?  Well the big day arrived!!  The Case and John Deere families were united.  :)   Marilyn Hagerty even wrote about these two and their fun family rivalry in her her weekly column!

Oh, this was a beautiful wedding…  Taylor and Fallon were married at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.  They really wanted a winter wedding and as of the day before we did not have any snow on the ground.  As fate would have it, it snowed overnight and we awoke to the most gorgeous winter wonderland!  There was no wind, high clouds - fantastic day for a winter wedding!  We loaded up and went to the Greenway to take advantage of the fresh snow, and it was perfect.  Many thanks to the wedding party for freezing your fancy pants off all for the sake of pictures.  It was worth it!!

Thank you, Taylor and Fallon for choosing me to be your photographer.  It was an honor to be a part of your special day.

First bit of awesome – Snowflake pictures are available for purchase!  The snowflake pictures got so much positive feedback that I wanted to make them available to you.  They are an overall size of 8×10.  There is a white border around the image so no need for a mat, just an 8×10 frame and you’re set.  They are printed on metallic paper – perfect for silvery snowflakes.  Order your snowflake prints here!

Second bit of awesome – I just figured out how to add a “pin-it” button to the bottom of each of my blog posts! Let’s give it a test run, shall we? Since everybody loved the snowflake pictures, I’ll post a couple that are not in the slideshow format. One of the most challenging ages to photograph is two years.  They usually have their mind made up about how their day is going to go, and it usually doesn’t involve getting their picture taken. :)   I enjoy the challenge, actually.  One of my favorite parts is when I get “the shot” and I know it the second I press the shutter.  It usually involves me laying on the ground, making a fool of myself singing some goofy song, but it is so worth it.  Miss Lydia was feeling her “twos” that day, but I assured her mom that it would be okay.  I will post a picture of her that I snapped at one point during the session, and then of course I will post “the shot”.
