I really have the best job ever. I love meeting new families – families that become friends by the end of our first session together! I gotta tell you, big sister Eva and I were total BFFs by the end of our morning. And then there’s sweet baby August (gah! the name, even!). He is just about as fresh and sweet as they come. He really wanted to eat a lot during his photo session, but that’s cool with me. I am a pro at waiting for babies (besides, Eva and I had plenty to chat about). Once he was asleep he was OUT!

Check out this adorable family!

I went to Scheels over the weekend and photographed their Dock Dogs event. I chose this as something to do for my “Project 52” – something just for me, just for fun. This was a fantastic challenge, as locking focus on a dog that is flying through the air can be tricky to say the least!

Here are a few of my favorites!

And my personal favorite of the entire weekend, this is a girl after my own heart!

    Incredible pictures of incredible dogs.

I was lucky enough to squeeze in a newborn session (and family!) with Titus right before our family left for a month-long trip to Oregon (and Washington and Nevada). I am so happy we got it in.  The day was so beautiful that we did all the family pictures outside and then finished up with Titus inside.  Isn’t he just the most adorable guy?!  I seriously have the best job. <3
