I bought this dahlia tuber from a local gal here in Fargo who had some extras. In the past all the dahlias I have grown have been about 18 inches tall, so I assumed the same for this one. I put her in a pot this spring and she has been growing, and growing, and growing. Right now she’s at least 36 inches tall and the bloom are just starting to open. I was shocked to see the coloring – look at the yellow and pink petals! Also, is that not the coolest bud getting ready to burst open? I can’t believe you can see all the perfect little petals inside!
