Mother Nature is lashing out at us with the fourth blizzard of the year today. Blizzard Dillon. Yep, they name hurricanes in the south and we name blizzards here in the north.
School is cancelled yet again. It is hard to believe we have already used all of our built in storm days, most of them in August when they cancelled school due to high heat (yeah, for real).
The temperature outside is -12, and with the 44 mph winds visibility is zero and the windchills are -42.
It is only January.
I will probably fire up the oven to console ourselves with some sort of yummy baked good; I am sure we could all use that extra layer for insulation, right? 😉
We may not get out of our pajamas all day.
I foresee a disaster of a craft day approaching.
One child is currently playing the xylophone and singing at the top of her lungs while the other hasn’t quit talking since he woke up.
I’m on my third cup of coffee.
Maybe I should spend my day planning a vacation to Jamaica.
This is the view from our window.
