Hi, I’m Erin and I am the gal behind the camera at Soulshine Photography. I am so glad you are here!

I began my photography career as a photojournalist for a daily newspaper in Oregon. I photographed everything from rural farm life, to forest fires, to neighborhood kids playing ball. I learned to use my creative eye to create images that tell stories, a skill I still use with every session today.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Photography from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s degree from the University of North Dakota in Early Childhood Special Education. I am married to a pretty dang cool guy and we have two pretty dang cool kids.

This world really is full of amazing humans and I love to photograph them.
