It is amazing how two sessions can be so similar and so completely different at the same time.  As I mentioned in the previous post, I photographed two 10-day-old newborns over the weekend. I was really happy to have two sessions so close together because I felt like it was a great opportunity for me to work on a few skills that are specific to newborn photography.  Photographing those little babies is a completely different ball-game than other portrait work, and I must say, I love it.

I have been really excited to share a few peeks from my second newborn session.  I'd like you to meet Ben.  Ben was the New Year's Baby for the city of Crookston!  Congratulations!  Ben was wide awake for the first part of the session, and then with a little bit of coaxing he was fast asleep.  He was a very willing model – putting up with me taking off all his clothes, putting him in a basket… he was super!
