This is the session that almost didn’t happen!  We had to reschedule this session a few times between each of our families being sick and the weather.  We were determined to make it happen though, and I am SO glad we did! 

Baby Benjamen (Benno) was pretty sure he should be awake for most of his session – he didn’t want to miss a thing!  He was amazingly alert, and already holding his head up.  Strong boy!  His mama rocked him, fed him, walked him, and he finally gave in to peaceful sleep – they key to getting those squishy newborn poses.  Isn’t he just beautiful?  We got some really great shots of Benno and his three big sisters, Anna, Catherine and Lydia.
