Vaya and Navelle are always such fun! I have been eying this location by the UND football field for a while, and it turned out perfect especially considering their dad used to play football for UND!

Do you remember these gorgeous blue eyes?  Well guess what… Vaya is now a whole year old and she just.keeps.getting.cuter!  She is also much busier, as is always true with one-year-olds.  She was walking everywhere, and kept me running with my camera!

We did a few at University Park, then headed downtown where we got some awesome “urban baby” shots (which I ALWAYS love) and finished up at Vaya’s home where her mom had made the most adorable cupcake cake for Vaya to smash.  Poor Vaya had had enough though, and was not interested in her cake whatsoever!  So classic for a one-year-old –  I love it! 🙂

Oh. My. Goodness.  I think this has to be one of my favorite sessions.  I am pretty sure I tell my husband that every single time I am editing a new session, but really – does it get any more adorable?  Vaya was just full of smiles and happy to be dressed up in all kinds of seriously cute outfits and accessories.   And those eyes…

Funny story: Vaya’s mom, Jayme and I kept thinking that we knew each other from somewhere, and it wasn’t until half-way through the session we finally realized that we worked together for a summer several years ago!  Way back before Della was born, and before I started Soulshine Photography!  What a small world.
