Wow, the transition from one to two children is crazy.  I have been trying to sit down and write this blog post for over a week but I just don’t have enough hands!  I mentioned to Della last week that I needed an extra hand and she suggested that I grow one out of my belly button.  Slightly creepy thought, but very logical for a three-year-old I suppose.

Things are really going quite smoothly, considering.  We had a really stressful and insane couple of weeks when Oliver was born (unrelated to Oliver or the birth) but everyone is happy and healthy and for that I am extremely grateful.  Oliver is eating well, getting chunky and has even started sleeping some longer stretches at night (shhhhh…. I’m afraid to say it out loud).  Della is handling the transition well and loves her little brother, although she is aching to “play” with him.   I couldn’t ask for more, well except maybe a visit from the laundry fairy…

Anyway, I have been so excited to show off Oliver’s “official” newborn session.  We have the camera out continuously and have taken SO many pictures, but there is something special about doing his official session.

A special thanks to my sister, Cresty for knitting the adorable hats!
