Another Devils Lake session with Anna, Catherine, Lydia and little Benno!  I can’t believe how much Benno has grown since his newborn session!

One of the most challenging ages to photograph is two years.  They usually have their mind made up about how their day is going to go, and it usually doesn’t involve getting their picture taken. 🙂  I enjoy the challenge, actually.  One of my favorite parts is when I get “the shot” and I know it the second I press the shutter.  It usually involves me laying on the ground, making a fool of myself singing some goofy song, but it is so worth it.  Miss Lydia was feeling her “twos” that day, but I assured her mom that it would be okay.  I will post a picture of her that I snapped at one point during the session, and then of course I will post “the shot”.
