I am determined to catch up on blogging! Here’s Finley and Avery!

 

 

I met up with Tom, Martie and Finley at Riverside Park for some fun family pictures to celebrate Finley turning two years old.  When I saw them pull up in an old Ford truck (this is Tom’s truck that he drove as a teenager!) with a big bouquet of balloons coming out the window I knew we were going to have a great time.  I loved the bright colors of the balloons against the brown trees and leaves.  This is the third year I have photographed this family, and they are always so much fun!!

Do you remember Finley and her amazing eyes?  Well, Finley just celebrated her first birthday!  She is still as cute as ever… and now she's walking!  We started out our session in the building where her dad works, which had TONS of incredible art.   We then moved outside and explored the grass, rocks, had a wagon ride and of course, some snuggles!

Little Finlely has the clearest, brightest eyes I believe I have ever seen.  I couldn't take my own eyes off of them during our session – they are breathtaking!  I also loved her pretty green dress and her sweet little toothy smile!

Most of our session was inside because it was quite windy outside, but luckily this family just moved into a great house that has beautiful hardwood floors and awesome colors on the walls, so staying inside worked out great!  We did brave the wind and sneak outside for a few shots of Finley and her first experience in the grass – she was interested in tasting it, but didn't so much like being up close and personal with it. 🙂
